Pune, September 1, 2025: Bajaj Auto (NSE: BAJAJ-AUTO, BSE: 532977) has reported a critical increase in August volumes with exports increasing by 29% (year on year). The company reported total sales of 417,616 units in August 2025, up 5% year-over-year. The total export units were 1,85,218. Two-wheeler shipments increased by 2% (341,887 units), while commercial vehicle sales rose by 21% to 75,729 units, as overseas demand continued to rise.

At 11:00 AM on Monday, the share was up by 2.39% (at ₹8838.00). The share has surged by close to 10% in the past month. The trading volume was close to 1.5 lakh shares. The company’s P/E ratio is 31.74 compared to the industrial average of 26.52.

August 2025 Sales at 4,17,616 Units Mark 5% Growth as Total Exports Surge 29% Despite 12% Domestic Decline

In August 2025, the company reported total sales of 4,17,616 units, a 5% increase over August 2024. Two-wheeler exports surged 25%, offsetting a 12% drop in domestic sales, leading to a modest 2% rise overall. Commercial vehicles performed strongly with a 21% jump, driven by a 58% surge in exports. However, total domestic sales declined 8%, while exports grew 29%, highlighting stronger global demand despite weaker local performance.

April–August 2025 Sales Reach 18.94 Lakh Units, Up 2% YoY as 21% Export Growth Offsets 9% Domestic Weakness

From April to August 2025, total sales stood at 18,94,853 units, up 2% YoY. Two-wheeler performance remained flat at 15.87 lakh units, with domestic sales down 11% but exports up 18%. Commercial vehicles grew 14% to 3.08 lakh units, largely driven by a 47% surge in exports, while domestic sales were stable with a 1% rise. Overall, exports increased by 21%, offsetting a 9% decline in domestic demand, reflecting strong overseas momentum against muted local demand.
