Balrampur Chini Mills Q1 Net Profit Falls 14.40% to Rs 44.14 Cr

New Delhi: Balrampur Chini Mills on Tuesday posted a 14.40 per cent fall in its consolidated net profit to Rs 44.14 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal due to higher expenses. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 51.57 crore in a year-ago quarter, it said in a regulatory filing.
Total revenue rose 6.12 per cent to Rs 1,636.79 crore for April-June quarter of the 2026-27 fiscal from Rs 1,542.27 crore a year ago.
However, expenses were higher at Rs 1,599.65 crore as against Rs 1,485.39 crore a year ago.
The company operates 10 plants in Uttar Pradesh, mainly in the eastern and central belt, with a combined cane-crushing capacity of 80,000 tonnes per day (TCD).
