Mumbai, September 22: Ceigall India has commissioned another 5 MW of operational solar capacity at its Maharashtra project, taking the site’s total commissioned capacity to 10 MW.
According to the exchange filing, the latest commissioning was completed through Ceigall Green Energy MH2 Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceigall India, at Ranjangaon Deshmukh in Mulshi Taluka, Pune district, Maharashtra.
The additional 5 MW takes the project’s operational capacity to 10 MW, ahead of the scheduled commissioning timeline. The project forms part of a larger 147 MW solar power development being undertaken under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0).
The earlier 5 MW unit had already been commissioned ahead of schedule. With the latest addition, the commissioned capacity is now connected to the 33/11 kV Ranjangaon substation of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL), with power being supplied to MSEDCL.
Stock Market Snapshot
Ceigall India shares were trading at ₹375.50 as of 3:00 PM IST on September 22, 2026, down ₹4.45, or 1.17%, according to the market data shown.
The stock declined through much of the morning session, touching levels below ₹370 before recovering sharply after 12:30 PM. It moved towards ₹377 during the afternoon before easing to ₹375.50 at the latest quoted time.
The Ceigall India share price was therefore lower despite the company’s disclosure of additional commissioned solar capacity in Maharashtra.

10 MW Capacity Forms Part Of 147 MW Solar Project
The 10 MW operational capacity forms part of the aggregate 147 MW solar power project being developed and executed by Ceigall Green Energy MH2 Limited under MSKVY 2.0.
The Maharashtra government scheme is aimed at strengthening decentralised daytime solar power supply for agricultural feeders across the state. Ceigall said the commissioning of the latest 5 MW capacity further strengthens its presence in the renewable energy sector.
Ramnreek Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ceigall India, said the commissioning reflects the company’s execution capabilities and its focus on scaling its renewable energy presence in Maharashtra.
