CNG Rates Today, July 6, 2026: CNG Price in Hyderabad Rises by Rs 6, New Delhi Stays Cheapest

Mumbai, July 6: CNG prices remained unchanged across 14 out of the 15 cities today. The lone city to witness a revision was Hyderabad, which saw prices go up by Rs 6 per kg on Monday, ending eight days of no price change in the city, according to Torrentgas.com. Torrent Gas is one of the CNG suppliers in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad now charges Rs 103 per kg for CNG against Rs 97.00 per kg previously, becoming the expensive CNG city in India, displacing Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad which retains its price at Rs 98.00 per kg.
The cheapest city to purchase compressed natural gas in India is still New Delhi where prices have held firm at Rs 83.09 per kg. Rates in Delhi are nearly Rs 3 cheaper than what consumers pay in Mumbai at Rs 86.00 per kg, and around Rs 8.60 per kg cheaper than what Indraprastha Gas Limited charges its customers in NCR satellite cities Noida and Ghaziabad at Rs 91.70 per kg.
Rates in Gurugram held at Rs 88.12 per kg, while those in Rewari stayed at Rs 87.70 per kg. Consumers in Meerut continued to pay Rs 91.50 per kg for CNG, while Sonipat was the priciest city in NCR at Rs 94.00 per kg.
Rates in Chennai, Bangalore, Mathura and Bharatpur held steady at Rs 97.00 per kg each. There was no change from Friday’s prices in these cities. Dewas had the cheapest price for CNG in central India at Rs 96.00 per kg.
The spread between cheapest and costliest city to buy CNG has widened further to Rs 19.91 with effect from today’s hike in Hyderabad. From Rs 14.91 on Friday, New Delhi is now at the cheaper end and Hyderabad at the expensive end.
Maximum price spread between cities in a cluster is still in NCR at Rs 10.91, with rates ranging from Rs 83.09 per kg in Delhi to Rs 94.00 per kg in Sonipat.
Here’s how prices in these cities compared with Friday, July 3: New Delhi, Mumbai, Rewari, Gurugram, Meerut, Noida, Ghaziabad, Sonipat, Dewas, Chennai, Bangalore, Bharatpur, Mathura and Firozabad continue to report no change in the price per kg of CNG.
Hyderabad is the only city where prices have risen since Friday, increasing by Rs 6 per kg.
