Crude Oil Futures Fall on Weak Global Cues

New Delhi: Crude oil price fell by Rs 126 to Rs 7,771 per barrel in futures trade on Thursday amid weak global trends.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil futures for the September delivery slipped by Rs 126, or 1.6 per cent, to Rs 7,771 per barrel in a business turnover of 7,020 lots.
Analysts said the prices fell after participants offloaded their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude fell 1.33 per cent to USD 81.14 per barrel, while Brent crude declined 1.17 per cent to USD 86.81 per barrel in New York.
