New Delhi: Homegrown FMCG major Dabur India Ltd on Wednesday reported a 12.09 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 498.57 crore for the September quarter FY27.

The company had logged a net profit of Rs 444.79 crore in July-September FY26, Dabur India said in a regulatory filing.

Revenue from operations was up 11.64 per cent at Rs 3,563.07 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 3,191.32 crore a year ago.

This is the second straight quarter of double-digit growth, the company said in its earnings statement.

Total expenses were at Rs 3,089.14 crore in the September quarter, up 12 per cent year-on-year.

This reflects the underlying strength of its core brands, continued momentum in the premium portfolio, and focused execution across categories, the company said.

Total income, which includes other income, stood at Rs 3,734.96 crore, up 12.11 per cent YoY, in the second quarter of FY27.

Dabur India’s standalone revenue from operations, which mainly consists of the domestic business, was also up 8.86 per cent at Rs 2,432.87 crore in the reported quarter. It was at Rs 2,234.77 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

“Dabur’s International Business grew 20 per cent in rupee terms during the quarter, supported by strong performances across several key markets like Bangladesh, Egypt, Sub-Saharan Africa and Turkey,” it said.

Over the segment revenue, Dabur said its consolidated revenue from the consumer care business advanced 11.4 per cent to Rs 2,953.29 crore.

Its revenue from the food business was also up 14 per cent at Rs 531.38 crore in Q2 FY27, while the retail business grew 7.2 per cent to Rs 26.77 crore.

The company’s Other category, which primarily includes Guar Gum and pharmaceuticals, jumped 7.86 per cent to Rs 43.2 crore.

Commenting on the results, CEO Herjit S Bhalla said, “Our performance in Q2 reflects the strength of our brands and the sharper execution of our strategy. We delivered profitable growth despite operating in a challenging · external environment marked by geopolitical uncertainty and elevated input-cost pressures. What gives me confidence is that the growth has been broad-based and backed by healthy underlying volumes.”

In the first half (H1) of FY27, Dabur India’s total consolidated income stood at Rs 7,671.91 crore, up 11.51 per cent YoY.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Dabur India informed that its Board of Directors declared an Interim Dividend of Rs 3.50, or 350 per cent, per equity share of a face value of Re 1 each, for FY 2026-27.

Shares of Dabur India Ltd on Wednesday settled at Rs 394.10 apiece, up 3.45 per cent, on the BSE.
