Mumbai, September 8, 2026: Deepa Jewellers shares made their debut at ₹221 on both the BSE and NSE on Tuesday, listing at a premium of ₹44, or 24.86%, over the IPO price of ₹177.
After opening at ₹221, the stock moved to a high of ₹222 before slipping to a low of ₹195. At 10:06:19 AM IST, Deepa Jewellers shares were trading at ₹198.50, down 10.18% from the opening price.
The listing followed the company’s ₹459.72 crore IPO, which was open from September 1 to September 3. The issue received an overall subscription of 43.40 times.
Deepa Jewellers Lists At ₹221 On BSE And NSE
Deepa Jewellers shares were listed at ₹221 on September 8, compared with the final IPO price of ₹177. This translated into a listing gain of ₹44 per share, or 24.86%.
The stock opened at the same ₹221 level on both BSE and NSE. It touched ₹222 during early trading before moving lower.
At 10:06:19 AM IST, the shares were at ₹198.50. This was ₹22.50, or 10.18%, below the opening price, while still ₹21.50, or 12.15%, above the IPO price.
Shares Move Between ₹195 And ₹222
The stock recorded an intraday high of ₹222 and a low of ₹195 during the morning session.
At the time of the market snapshot, the volume-weighted average price (VWAP) stood at ₹208.66. VWAP represents the average price at which the stock has traded during the session, weighted by trading volume.
With the market price at ₹198.50, the stock was trading below its VWAP as well as its opening level.
₹459.72 Crore IPO Gets 43.40 Times Subscription
Deepa Jewellers had fixed the IPO price band at ₹168–177 per share and finalised the issue price at ₹177.
The company offered 2,59,72,633 shares through the IPO. The issue comprised a fresh issue of 1,41,24,293 shares worth ₹250 crore and an offer for sale of 1,18,48,340 shares worth ₹209.72 crore.
Investors placed bids for 78,91,05,828 shares, taking the overall subscription to 43.40 times. The issue received 19,74,530 applications.
QIB Portion Subscribed 36.73 Times
The qualified institutional buyer (QIB) portion, excluding anchor investors, was subscribed 36.73 times. Bids were received for 19,07,76,852 shares against 51,94,527 shares available in the category.
The QIB category accounted for 50% of the total issue, including the anchor allocation.
NII Category Receives 109.04 Times Subscription
The non-institutional investor (NII) portion saw subscription of 109.04 times.
Within the NII category, applications above ₹10 lakh were subscribed 127.56 times, while the portion for applications between ₹2 lakh and ₹10 lakh was subscribed 72.02 times.
Retail Portion Subscribed 19.09 Times
Retail investors subscribed 19.09 times the shares reserved for the category. The segment received bids for 17,35,05,444 shares against 90,90,422 shares offered.
The minimum retail application was 84 shares. At the upper end of the price band, one lot required ₹14,868.
Anchor Investors Put In ₹137.91 Crore
Deepa Jewellers raised ₹137.91 crore from anchor investors on August 31, ahead of the public issue.
Anchor investors were allotted 77,91,789 shares, representing 30% of the total issue. According to the issue details, 50% of the anchor shares are locked in until October 3, 2026, while the remaining shares have a lock-in period ending December 2, 2026.
Subscription Climbed On Final Day
The Deepa Jewellers IPO received 0.88 times subscription on the first day, September 1. The overall subscription increased to 3.69 times on September 2 before reaching 43.40 times on the final day.
QIB subscription excluding anchors rose from 0.11 times on Day 1 to 36.73 times by the close of the issue. NII subscription increased from 0.65 times to 109.04 times, while retail subscription moved from 1.42 times to 19.09 times.
Deepa Jewellers Shares Remain Above IPO Price
At ₹198.50 as of 10:06:19 AM IST on September 8, Deepa Jewellers shares remained ₹21.50, or 12.15%, above the ₹177 IPO price.
However, the stock had given up ₹22.50 from its ₹221 listing and opening price. The session range stood at ₹195–222, with VWAP at ₹208.66.
