Mumbai, June 17: Dynamic Services & Security Limited said its wholly owned subsidiary, The Bharat Battery MFG Co Private Limited, has received a purchase order from Central Railway for the supply of low-maintenance lead-acid batteries used in diesel-electric locomotives.
The order has been awarded by the Office of the Deputy Chief Materials Manager, Bhusawal, Central Railway, according to an exchange filing.
The contract is valued at ₹9.24 lakh and covers the supply of batteries designed for railway locomotive applications. Deliveries are scheduled between June 16, 2026, and August 15, 2026.
While the order size is relatively small in absolute terms, railway contracts often carry strategic significance for manufacturers because they strengthen relationships with government customers and can support participation in future tenders.
The company clarified that the contract was awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any promoter or related-party interest.
Stock Market Snapshot
Dynamic Services share price remained in positive territory after the company disclosed the order win.
As of 9:56 AM IST on June 17, 2026, shares of Dynamic Services & Security Ltd were trading at ₹157.95, up ₹2.55 or 1.64% from the previous close.
The stock saw modest buying interest during the morning session, reflecting a positive market response to the latest business update.
Although the contract is unlikely to have a material impact on the company’s financials given its size, investors often track order announcements as indicators of business activity and customer traction.
The Dynamic Services share price has been closely watched since the company diversified into battery manufacturing through its subsidiary operations.

Railway Orders Offer Visibility and Credibility
Indian Railways remains one of the country’s largest institutional buyers of industrial equipment, electrical systems and maintenance components.
For suppliers, even relatively small orders can help establish a track record with railway authorities, potentially opening doors to larger procurement opportunities over time.
The latest order also highlights Bharat Battery’s presence in the industrial battery segment, where reliability and compliance with technical specifications are critical factors for securing repeat business.
As railway modernisation and maintenance spending continue, manufacturers catering to the sector are expected to benefit from recurring procurement requirements.
Company Background
Dynamic Services & Security operates across multiple business segments and has expanded into battery manufacturing through its subsidiary, The Bharat Battery MFG Co Private Limited.
The subsidiary manufactures lead-acid battery products serving industrial and specialised applications.
The group has been pursuing opportunities in sectors where government and institutional procurement play an important role in demand generation.
Conclusion
The Central Railway order adds another customer win for Dynamic Services’ battery manufacturing subsidiary and strengthens its presence in the railway supply chain.
While the ₹9.24 lakh contract is modest in size, it reinforces the company’s engagement with government customers and provides additional execution visibility for its battery business.
