Mumbai September, 11: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has expanded its respiratory portfolio in Latin America with the launch of RYALTRIS nasal spray in Brazil for the treatment of moderate to severe allergic rhinitis.

According to the company’s exchange disclosure, Glenmark Specialty S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, has launched RYALTRIS in Brazil following regulatory approval from Brazil’s health regulator, Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (ANVISA).

The product is indicated for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above experiencing moderate to severe symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis.

RYALTRIS combines an antihistamine, olopatadine hydrochloride, with a corticosteroid, mometasone furoate, in a single nasal spray. Glenmark said the launch introduces an olopatadine-containing intranasal combination therapy in the Brazilian market.

The Brazil launch gives Glenmark another market for RYALTRIS, which the company describes as its first globally commercialised branded innovative product.

Glenmark said RYALTRIS has already received approvals in 57 markets worldwide, including the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea and Russia.

Brazil is also a significant market for allergic rhinitis. The company cited estimates that the condition affects around 20% to 30% of the Brazilian population, highlighting the potential patient base for differentiated treatment options.

Company Targets Wider Latin American Access

Glenmark said the launch is part of its broader effort to expand access to differentiated respiratory therapies across global markets.

The company has been building its branded and innovative medicines portfolio alongside its established pharmaceutical operations. Its focus areas include respiratory, dermatology and oncology, among other therapeutic segments.

The Brazil launch adds another commercial market for RYALTRIS while strengthening Glenmark’s presence in Latin America.
