GMDC to Trade Ex-Dividend at ₹10.10 Per Share Tomorrow

Ahmedabad, September 17, 2025 – Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NSE: GMDCLTD) will go ex-dividend on September 18, 2025 for its recently announced payout of ₹10.10 per share of equity on a face value of ₹2. The dividend record date has also been set for September 18.

This is one of the highest dividend announcements by the government-owned mining firm in recent history, following its robust profitability and cash balances.

Recent Dividend History of GMDC

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) has maintained a consistent track record of rewarding its shareholders with dividends over the past several years. For the financial year 2025, the company declared a dividend of ₹10.10 per share, with the ex-dividend date set for September 18, 2025. In comparison, GMDC distributed a dividend of ₹9.55 per share in 2024 (ex-date: September 20, 2024) and a higher payout of ₹11.45 per share in 2023 (ex-date: September 22, 2023).

Prior to that, the company offered ₹4.30 per share in 2022 and a nominal ₹0.20 per share in 2021. Going further back, GMDC rewarded shareholders with ₹2.00 per share in both 2019 and 2020. This dividend record underscores GMDC’s increasing shareholder dividends over the past few years, with consistent growth since FY22, as a demonstration of the company’s enhanced financial performance.
