Gold Futures Decline Rs 544 to Rs 1.55 Lakh per 10 GM

New Delhi: Gold prices on Tuesday fell Rs 544 to Rs 1,55,396 per 10 grams in futures trade amid a fall in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the yellow metal contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 544, or 0.35 per cent, at Rs 1,55,396 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 9,895 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in precious metal prices to weaker spot demand.

Globally, gold futures declined by 0.36 per cent to USD 4,457.60 per ounce in New York.
