Gold prices in Bangalore rose again on July 23, extending this week’s rally as domestic bullion rates tracked firm global cues. After Wednesday’s sharp jump, prices continued to edge higher, taking 24K gold to a fresh monthly high.

Bangalore, July 23: Gold prices in Bangalore stayed on the rise Thursday, adding to the momentum built over the past few sessions. Although the day’s increase was far smaller than Wednesday’s surge, it was enough to push bullion to another monthly high, reflecting steady demand and supportive global market conditions.
The latest rates show 24K gold at ₹14,728 per gram, up ₹77 from the previous day. 22K gold increased by ₹70 to ₹13,500 per gram, while 18K gold climbed ₹58 to ₹11,046 per gram.
The latest move means gold has now gained for four straight trading sessions, recovering comfortably from the mid-July pullback.

Bullion Rally Keeps Gold Near Monthly Peak
Wednesday’s rally may have grabbed the headlines, but Thursday’s advance suggests the buying interest hasn’t faded.
International gold prices have remained firm as investors continue to seek safety amid uncertainty in global markets. That strength has filtered into Indian bullion prices, allowing domestic rates to hold on to recent gains instead of giving them back.
For buyers, the market remains in an uptrend. For investors, the focus now shifts to whether global cues can support another leg higher.
Those looking for exposure without purchasing physical gold may also consider Gold ETFs, which mirror gold prices while eliminating concerns around storage, purity and making charges.

The price chart tells an interesting story. Gold spent the middle of July moving sideways before slipping briefly around July 17. Since then, the metal has staged a decisive rebound, with the biggest leap coming on July 22. Thursday’s advance, though smaller, shows the momentum is still intact rather than fading after a single-day spike.
July Performance So Far

| Opening Price (July 1) | ₹14,433 | ₹13,230 |
| Current Price (July 23) | ₹14,728 | ₹13,500 |

Despite a brief correction during the third week of July, gold has spent most of the month trending higher. The latest rally has erased those losses and pushed prices above every previous level seen this month, underlining the strength in the current market.
What Is Driving Gold Prices Higher?
Gold prices move in response to a mix of domestic and global factors. International bullion prices, the strength of the U.S. dollar, rupee movements, central bank policy expectations, inflation concerns and geopolitical developments all play a role.
Because India imports most of its gold, any sharp move in overseas markets is usually reflected in local prices within a short period.
Conclusion
Gold remained firmly in positive territory on July 23, with 24K gold in Bangalore climbing to ₹14,728 per gram and 22K gold reaching ₹13,500 per gram. The day’s gain may not have matched Wednesday’s rally, but it reinforced the broader trend that has been building over the past week. If global bullion prices stay supported, domestic gold rates could continue to hover near record monthly levels in the sessions ahead.
