New Delhi: ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (MF) has launched its BSE Power ETF, offering investors exposure to companies across the country’s power generation, transmission, distribution and electrical equipment segments.
The new fund offer (NFO) will remain open from October 26 to October 30, according to the fund house’s statement.
The open-ended exchange-traded fund will track the BSE Power Index, comprising eligible companies from the BSE 500 across power generation, integrated utilities, transmission, distribution and heavy electrical equipment.
The index’s top constituents include NTPC, Power Grid Corporation of India, Adani Power, Bharat Heavy Electricals and Tata Power, as of September 30, 2026.
The minimum application amount during the NFO is Rs 1,000, while units can be bought and sold on stock exchanges in lots of one unit after allotment.
“With the launch of ICICI Prudential BSE Power ETF, investors can access a diversified basket of companies across this value chain through a single investment,” said Vipin Bhandari, Head of Retail Business at ICICI Prudential AMC.
As India’s energy needs continue to evolve, the scheme provides investors with an avenue to participate in the long-term potential of the power sector, Bhandari said.
