IDEA Leads Trading Volumes; KWIL Surges 13.73% Among Most Active Equities on June 4, 2026

IDEA remained the most actively traded stock by volume, while KWIL, JYOTISTRUC and JISLJALEQS recorded the strongest gains among heavily traded counters as of 11:12 IST on June 4, 2026.

Mumbai, June 4: Trading activity remained concentrated in a mix of telecom, power, infrastructure and industrial stocks, with IDEA emerging as the most actively traded equity by volume on Thursday.
According to exchange data, IDEA recorded trading volume of more than 38.33 crore shares and traded 1.21% higher at ₹15.03. OLAELEC followed with volume exceeding 14.84 crore shares, although the stock slipped 0.21% to ₹43.65.
GTLINFRA ranked among the most actively traded counters, with over 10.65 crore shares changing hands. The stock gained 7.43% to ₹1.59 during the session.

KWIL, JYOTISTRUC And JISLJALEQS Lead Gainers
Among the actively traded stocks, KWIL delivered the strongest performance, rising 13.73% to ₹34.79. The stock also witnessed substantial trading activity, with nearly 6.89 crore shares traded.
JYOTISTRUC advanced 9.87% to ₹14.02, while JISLJALEQS gained 9.10% to ₹31.77. MMTC climbed 7.56% to ₹70.11, and DHARAN added 6.25% to ₹0.17.
BHARATCOAL rose 5.47%, while HFCL gained 4.13%, reflecting buying interest across select infrastructure and industrial counters.
Select Large-Volume Stocks Trade Lower
Despite strong activity, several heavily traded stocks remained under pressure.
IFCI declined 0.58% to ₹79.95, JPPOWER slipped 0.83% to ₹19.17, and YESBANK fell 0.61% to ₹22.79. NHPC traded 0.40% lower at ₹74.80.
SAIL emerged as the weakest performer among the top-volume counters, declining 2.61% to ₹198.55.
Volume Concentrated In Telecom, Power And Infrastructure Names
The most active equities list highlighted continued investor participation in telecom and infrastructure-linked counters. IDEA, GTLINFRA, SUZLON, HFCL and JYOTISTRUC collectively accounted for a significant portion of trading volumes during the session.
