IndiGo Shares Rise 4.7% On Oil Plunge

Mumbai, November 05: Shares of InterGlobe Aviation, which runs airline IndiGo, rose 4.7% as Brent crude futures declined 0.7% to $93.9 per barrel after plunging 8.7% in the previous session.

InterGlobe Aviation has also allotted 1,000 equity shares following the exercise of vested stock options under the InterGlobe Aviation Limited Employee Stock Option Scheme 2023.
The company’s ESOP Allotment Committee approved the allotment at its meeting held on November 4, 2026. The meeting commenced at 10:30 AM IST and concluded at 10:40 AM IST

IndiGo ESOP Share Allotment Details

The company allotted 1,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The exercise price was also ₹10 per share, with no premium.

Following the allotment, InterGlobe Aviation’s total issued shares increased to 38,66,67,597, taking its total issued share capital to ₹386,66,75,970.

The allotment was made under the Employee Stock Option Scheme 2023, which was originally filed with the stock exchanges on September 6, 2023.

The IndiGo share price was trading at ₹5,382, up ₹241.20 or 4.69% on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 9:38:16 AM IST, compared with the previous close of ₹5,140.80. The stock opened at ₹5,480.
