Mumbai, November 17, 2025: Shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd (NSE: IRB | BSE: 532947) climbed more than 4% after the company’s IRB Infrastructure Trust secured a significant project from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The trust, which acts as an InvIT sponsor for IRB, received the Letter of Award for the TOT-17 bundle, driving investor optimism and boosting the stock.

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. is engaged in the building of highways and the construction of the civil sector. It is one of the largest private toll road builders in India. The company was incorporated in 2008 and is listed on NSE and BSE trading under the tickers IRB and 532947. It is a constituent of the NIFTY Midcap 150 Index.

The TOT-17 Project

The TOT-17 bundle covers a substantial stretch of India’s highway network, spanning approximately 366 kilometres. It includes the Lucknow, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Corridor on NH-27 and a segment of the Lucknow, Varanasi Corridor on NH-731 in Uttar Pradesh. The project, valued at ₹9,270 crore, involves an upfront bid concession fee payable by the IRB Infrastructure Trust to NHAI and will operate under a 20-year revenue-linked concession period. This win is a significant boost for both IRB Infrastructure Developers and its trust, reflecting strong operational performance and substantially expanding the company’s road infrastructure portfolio.

The share price of IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited was trading at ₹45.03 as of November 17, 2025, 1:40 pm. This was a 4.82% or ₹2.07 rise from its previous close of ₹42.96. The intraday range so far has been between ₹44.21 and ₹45.95. The company has had a positive trading session so far. Its total market capitalisation stood at ₹27,205.69 crore. Further, it had a total traded value and volume of ₹370.26 crore and 819.35 lakh shares, respectively.
