Hyderabad, November 13, 2025: Share price of KNR Constructions Limited (INE634I01029) witnessed a steep fall on Thursday, following the company’s announcement of a sharp decline in its second-quarter financial performance. Its shares fell over 2% as investors reacted to the sharp decline in both profit and revenue, which reflected weak operational momentum in the quarter.
Poor Q2 Financial Performance
KNR Construction’s consolidated profit after tax slumped 76.3% to ₹104.7 crore for the quarter ended September 2025, as against ₹441.5 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations also significantly contracted 66.8% to ₹646.5 crore versus ₹1,944.8 crore in Q2 FY25. Thus, the sharp shrinkage on the top line and bottom line resulted in high selling pressure and dented investors’ confidence, pulling down the stock price of the company.
Stock Movement and Market Sentiment
At 11:37 am IST, KNR Constructions shares were trading at ₹172.48, down 2.47% from the previous close of ₹176.84. The stock witnessed an intraday high of ₹174.39 and a low of ₹168.11, reflecting significant volatility following the quarterly earnings announcement. A total of 8.08 lakh shares changed hands, resulting in a VWAP of ₹171.85. The sell quantity stood at 2.81 lakh shares compared with a buy quantity of 1.69 lakh shares, signalling that bearish sentiment remains dominant.
Fresh 52-Week Low Amid Weak Outlook
KNR Constructions tumbled to a fresh 52-week low of ₹168.11, sharply below its 52-week high of ₹358.85 hit on December 16, 2024. A steep earnings decline, coupled with muted revenue growth, has made investors cautious, and selling pressure in the stock remains persistent.
