New Delhi: Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts on Wednesday reported a 26.6 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 94.6 crore for the second quarter ended September, on revenue growth supported by strong demand.
The luxury hospitality player reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 74.72 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, a regulatory filing showed.
“Our Q2 FY27 performance is a testament to the enduring strength of The Leela brand and the structural tailwinds in India’s luxury hospitality market. Our operating revenue grew 33 per cent, driving a 36 per cent rise in operating EBITDA, reflecting our robust business fundamentals and operational excellence across verticals,” Anuraag Bhatnagar, Whole-time Director and Chief Executive Officer, said.
Bhatnagar said, “Importantly, the demand was broad-based across retail, corporate and leisure segments, supported by strong demand for our suites and our ability to command a premium during marquee events,” he added.
The luxury hospitality player’s total income from operations increased to Rs 418 crore during the quarter, from Rs 333.45 crore, the filing showed.
Meanwhile, its total expenses stood at Rs 224.14 crore, as against Rs 172.71 crore a year ago.
