Ahmedabad, Oct 10, 2025: The stock of Laxmi Goldorna House Limited (NSE: LGHL | BSE: 543927) has started trading ex-bonus today after the company’s 7:5 bonus share issue. As per the corporate action, shareholders will receive seven new equity shares for every five held. The stock is now trading around ₹376.50 compared to the pre-corporate issue price of ₹900.20 (on October 9, 2025). The 58% decline in price is due to the corporate action, and the overall valuation and market capitalisation of the company have not been affected.

Laxmi Goldorna House Limited, listed on both NSE and BSE, is engaged in the Gems, Jewellery, and Watches segment. Headquartered in Gujarat, the company trades in gold ornaments, diamonds, and jewellery products through its retail and wholesale channels. It was listed on November 10, 2023, and has maintained steady growth since its debut.

Previous Day Recap

Trigger for the Movement

There is no apparent fall in the shareholder value or market capitalisation of the stock. The stock is trading 58% down from the previous day because the number of equity shares outstanding has increased, and the per share market value has been adjusted following a corporate action. The record date for determining shareholder eligibility also falls on the same day.

Market Snapshot (Post-Adjustment)

The stock opened high (₹395.00) but consolidated a bit around 10:45 AM when it traded at ₹376.50 (up by 0.45% in real value but appears 58% down from the previous closing price of ₹900.20). The stock has surged close to 88% in the past six months. The total market cap (pre-adjustment) was 1878.89 crore.
