Mumbai August, 31: C.E. Info Systems Limited, the company behind MapmyIndia, has partnered with ClarityX to launch Geo-FI, a new platform aimed at helping lenders use location intelligence while making credit and collection decisions.
The company said in an exchange disclosure that Geo-FI combines MapmyIndia’s mapping and geospatial capabilities with ClarityX’s analytics and decision intelligence tools. The idea is fairly straightforward: give lenders more context about where a customer is located, what surrounds that location and how those factors could matter across the lending cycle.
The platform is built around three areas of lending: finding promising markets, improving underwriting and making collections more effective. It can use information such as geocoded addresses, points of interest, demographics and micro-geography alongside a lender’s existing data.
Rather than replacing existing lending systems, Geo-FI is designed to sit alongside them. The company said it can integrate with LOS, LMS, CRM and collections platforms.
Stock Market Snapshot
MapmyIndia shares were at ₹977.40, up ₹11.50 or 1.19%, as of 12:15:09 PM IST on August 31, 2026, according to the market data provided.
The stock had a volatile start to the session. After opening around ₹970, it slipped below ₹960 during the morning before recovering gradually. Buying interest picked up closer to noon, with the shares briefly moving above ₹980 before easing back to the reported level.
The MapmyIndia share price was therefore higher at the time of the announcement-related market reaction, although the stock was still below its session high.

Geo-FI Targets Three Parts Of The Lending Process
Geo-Analyse is the first part of the platform and is focused on market expansion. It is intended to help lenders identify areas with potential for customer acquisition by combining their own data with geographic and demographic information.
Geo-Check moves into underwriting. It can take incomplete or unstructured addresses and turn them into more precise geographic information, while adding location-specific context to borrower assessment. According to the company, the tool can also strengthen customer profile verification through address matching and GPS-based information.
Then there is Geo-Collect, which is aimed at the collections side of the business. It uses geo-tagged field visits, collection information and spatial analysis to help lenders understand repayment patterns across different locations and organise field activity more efficiently.
The broader platform also incorporates AI into the process, with information from customer interactions, field visits and collections feeding back into the system. That is intended to make the lending workflow more responsive as more data is generated.
MapmyIndia And ClarityX Bring Different Capabilities Together
MapmyIndia brings its established mapping and location-data capabilities to the partnership. Its technology portfolio covers digital maps, GPS and geospatial data, with applications across mobility, logistics, infrastructure and other digital services.
ClarityX, meanwhile, focuses on data analytics and decision intelligence. Its capabilities include geospatial intelligence, contextual datasets, predictive models and AI-led decision frameworks.
The partnership effectively puts those two capabilities together for a specific use case. Instead of treating a borrower’s address as just a location marker, lenders can use the surrounding geographic context as another layer of information.
That could be relevant at several points, from deciding where to expand customer acquisition to verifying an address, assessing location-related risks and planning collection activity.
Conclusion
MapmyIndia’s tie-up with ClarityX marks a move into a more specialised application of its location technology, with Geo-FI aimed at lending institutions.
The platform brings mapping, geospatial data, analytics and AI together across market expansion, underwriting and collections. The market reaction was positive on August 31, 2026, with MapmyIndia shares trading at ₹977.40, up 1.19%, as of 12:15:09 PM IST.
