New Delhi: Crude oil prices rose Rs 324 to Rs 8,876 per barrel in futures trade on Thursday amid positive global trends.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil futures for October delivery rose Rs 324, or 3.79 per cent, to Rs 8,876 per barrel in a business turnover of 11,803 lots.

Analysts said the rise in bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading at USD 91.63 per barrel, up 3.79 per cent. Brent crude was marginally higher by 3.86 per cent at USD 104.07 per barrel in New York.
