Mumbai, August 10: Trading activity remained strong across several stocks during Monday’s session, with large volumes recorded in counters such as Vodafone Idea, PC Jeweller and Vedanta Oil and Gas. By 3:30 PM IST, VGL and EMIL were among the stronger performers, while some actively traded stocks also moved lower.

Vodafone Idea remained the most actively traded stock in the list, with more than 40.71 crore shares changing hands. The stock was trading at ₹12.82, up 0.71% from its previous close. PC Jeweller followed with over 26.30 crore shares traded, while Vedanta Oil and Gas recorded more than 25.69 crore shares. VGL stood out on price performance as well, gaining 13.92% to ₹39.77.

EMIL also saw strong activity, with more than 10.10 crore shares traded and the stock up 9.18%. Allcargo Logistics gained 6.26%, while Vedpower advanced 2.93%.
