BEML Limited has received a Letter of Intent for Design, Manufacture, Supply, Testing, and Commissioning of Standard Gauge Metro Rolling Stock for African region. The order comprises of stainless-steel standard gauge metro rolling stock valuing of approximately USD 60 million. This is the first ever overseas order secured by BEMLfor supplyof metro rolling stock.

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd.

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. Has signed a shipbuilding contract with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. For a 3000 deadweight tonne platform supply vessel powered bygreen methanol dual-fuel technology.

Physics Wallah

The company has received an assessment order and demand notice from the Income Tax Department, raising a tax demandof Rs 263.34 crore

Ultratech Cement

Ultratech Cement said it has entered into an energy supply agreement and a share subscription agreement to acquire a 26.18% equity stake in Sunsure solarpark Seven Pvt. Ltd.

Ahluwalia Contracts

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited has secured an order from Airport Authority of India (AAI) Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi for development of New Greenfield Airport at Bundi, Kota, Rajasthan. The order size is Rs. 393.04 Crores (Excluding GST).

MDL

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has entered into a contract with Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI) for the construction and sale of one 3000 DWT Methanol Dual Fuel Platform Supply Vessel (PSV). The contract value is approx. USD 39 million. The vessel will be constructed and delivered as per the mutually agreed contractual schedule between the parties.

GR Infra

GR Infraprojects Limited has emerged as the lowest (L-1) bidder for a National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project to construct a four-lane greenfield section of National Highway-33 in Bihar. The project involves the construction of a four-lane stretch from Mokama to Munger covering a design length of 82.4 km. The contract is valued at Rs 2,440.87 crore.

Nuclear Power Generation

The Union Minister Jitendra Singh declared Zero customs duty on the import of goods required for nuclear power projects. He said that the move aims to reduce overall project costs and the per-unit cost of electricity. This exemption on Reactor components and nuclear fuels will be in place till 2035.

Alkem Laboratories

With an allotment letter dated March 18, Vikram Udyogpuri Limited, for allotment of land admeasuring about 30 acres in the Industrial Area DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Limited, Phase– 2, Ujjain, for setting up of a greenfield formulations manufacturing facility of the Company in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The Board of Directors of the Company has approved an investment of upto Rs 533 crores to be madeinaphasedmanner.

CWD

CWD Limited has received a purchase order valued at Rs. 45.24 crores. It would be executed in the next three months.

Infosys

The company is set to incorporate “Infosys Enterprise Business Services” as a new arm in Australia.

Nazara Technologies

The company is set to acquire a ~50% controlling stake in Bluetile and BestPlay for approximately Rs 918 crore.

Varun Beverages

The company has acquired “Twizza Proprietary” through its arm at an enterprise value of Rs 1,140 crore.

Delta Corp

The company and its arm have received a tax demand of Rs 1,752 crore from the Goa tax body.

Alhuwalia Contracts

The company has received an order worth Rs 393.04 crore from the Airport Authority of India for the development of a new greenfield airport at Bundi, Rajasthan.

Belrise Industries

The company’s subsidiary, Belrise UK Holdings, has signed a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Chester Hall Precision Engineering Holdings.

United Breweries

The company has received environmental clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Uttar Pradesh, for its proposed greenfield brewery with a capacity of 1.3 million hectolitres per annum in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh
