Kotak Mahindra Bank led Nifty gains at 3.76%, while Bharti Airtel fell 2.31% as of 3:52 PM IST on August 26, 2026.

Mumbai, August 26: Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank and JSW Steel led the Nifty gainers, while Bharti Airtel, Power Grid Corporation and Infosys featured among the top losers as of 3:52 PM IST on August 26, 2026.
Kotak Mahindra Bank Leads Nifty Gainers
Kotak Mahindra Bank gained 3.76% to ₹416.70, making it the strongest performer in the gainers list shown. Axis Bank followed with a 1.62% rise to ₹1,255.00, while JSW Steel advanced 1.57% to ₹1,341.00.
The other notable gainers were UltraTech Cement, up 1.53% at ₹11,717.00, HDFC Life Insurance Company, higher 1.15% at ₹553.00, SBI Life Insurance Company, up 0.75% at ₹1,768.20, and IndusInd Bank, which gained 0.62% to ₹5,250.50.

Bharti Airtel Leads Nifty Losers
Bharti Airtel was the weakest stock in the second table, falling 2.31% to ₹1,902.10. Power Grid Corporation of India declined 2.14% to ₹265.20, while Infosys slipped 2.10% to ₹1,120.00.
Larsen & Toubro fell 1.96% to ₹4,038.10. Nestle India declined 1.86% to ₹1,451.50, Shriram Finance dropped 1.84% to ₹1,117.75, and Tech Mahindra lost 1.81% to ₹1,571.00.

Market Performance At 3:52 PM IST
According to the market data shown, financial stocks dominated the stronger side of the Nifty list, with Kotak Mahindra Bank and Axis Bank posting the biggest gains among the names highlighted.
