Mumbai, June 16: Tata Consumer Products, HCLTech and Reliance Industries emerged among the top gainers on the Nifty 50 index on Tuesday, while Hindalco Industries, Tata Steel and JSW Steel featured among the major laggards as investors navigated mixed sectoral trends in early trade.
According to exchange data, FMCG, IT and energy stocks witnessed buying interest, while metal counters came under selling pressure.
