NSDL’s Stock Up by More Than 16% Today

Mumbai, August 8, 2025 (Friday) – The shares of NSDL continued their strong run on the stock exchanges continuously for the third consecutive day since listing. On Friday, today, the stock rose further and reached ₹1,329.00 at 12:05 PM (18.33% higher than the previous day’s close). The total surge of the stock from its IPO price is more than 60% (the stock was issued at ₹800).

At 1:20 p.m. IST, 8th August, the stock price is up by 16.77% at Rs 1311.60.  At this time, Nifty 50 is down by 151.65 points or 0.62%.

IPO Recap

The NSDL IPO was one of the most anticipated IPOs in recent months. The overall issue was over-subscribed 41.01 times, with significant interest from QIBs and NIIs. Nearly 52 lakh applications were received, drawing bids for ₹1.15 lakh crore.
