Tata Steel Q4FY25 Recap: Profit Down Despite Stable Standalone Margins
For the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, Tata Steel Ltd reported a consolidated total income of ₹5,667.91 crore, with a profit before tax (PBT) of ₹212.29 crore and a net profit of ₹120.09 crore. The consolidated earnings per share (EPS) stood at ₹1.04. On a standalone basis, the total income was ₹3,496.38 crore, PBT was ₹429.31 crore, and net profit was ₹316.91 crore, with a standalone EPS of ₹2.54. Both consolidated and standalone results were reported on 13th May 2025.
IIFL Finance Q4FY25 Review: Back to Profit After Two-Quarter Slump
In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, IIFL Finance Ltd reported a consolidated total income of ₹2,594.35 crore, a profit before tax (PBT) of ₹309.47 crore, and a net profit of ₹251.36 crore. The consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter were ₹4.89. For its standalone operations, the company generated a total income of ₹1,140.68 crore, with a PBT of ₹50.20 crore and a net profit of ₹38.42 crore. The standalone EPS was ₹0.91. These results were reported on 8th May 2025.
This marks a sharp rebound from the company’s Q2 and Q3 FY25 performance, which saw steep losses due to asset quality stress and provisioning. EPS had dipped to negative territory in September 2024.
