OYO Parent PRISM Announces Leadership Reshuffle; Ankit Tandon Elevated as Global COO, Varun Jain to Lead Asia Operations

New Delhi, October 10: PRISM, the parent company of travel-tech giant OYO, has announced a significant reorganization of leadership to enhance its global operations and drive growth. The company has also promoted Ankit Tandon to the Chief Operating Officer, PRISM and CEO, Europe and Varun Jain to COO-Asia, PRISM.

The current CEO of OYO Vacation Homes, Tandon, will now manage the global business performance and activity of PRISM, which includes Belvilla, DanCenter, and Sunday Hotels brands. He also has the added responsibility of spearheading the PRISM businesses in Europe, the UK and the US, which includes G6 Hospitality, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6. He will still be the head of the PRISM vacation homes portfolio, which recently acquired CheckMyGuest (France) and MadeComfy (Australia).

Within the new structure, Puneet Yadav, who is the Country Head of the UK, will be reporting to Tandon. Meanwhile, Sonal Sinha, the CEO of G6 Hospitality (Dallas), will collaborate closely with him and OYO Founder and Group CEO Ritesh Agarwal.

Varun Jain to Oversee India and SEAME

Varun Jain, currently COO–India, will expand his responsibilities to include India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East (SEAME). He will also lead Traum Ferienwohnungen, PRISM’s listings business in Germany. Within India, Jain will now oversee Innov8 and Weddingz businesses, supported by Pankhuri Sakhuja (Innov8 and Traum) and Nitin Gupta (SEAME).

Broader Operational Strengthening

Shreerang Godbole will continue as Chief Service Officer, PRISM, driving customer experience and operations across all businesses. Following the leadership changes, he will also manage DanCenter operations, integrate and grow MadeComfy (Australia), and collaborate with Tandon on US PropCo operations.

Additionally, Shirish Damani has been appointed COO, Europe Homes & Hotels, PRISM. He will focus on enhancing supply, revenue, and margins across Belvilla, DanCenter, CheckMyGuest, Studio Prestige, and HelpMyGuest, while continuing to lead global M&A initiatives.

Leadership Transition and Vision Ahead

Gautam Swaroop, who led PRISM International (US, UK, LatAm, and Workspaces) and Traum Ferienwohnungen for five years, has decided to move on to pursue technology-led ventures.

Commenting on the reshuffle, Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & Group CEO of OYO and PRISM, said, “Gautam will continue to advise me and the PRISM leadership team.
