New Delhi: Apparel manufacturer Page Industries Ltd on Thursday reported a 4 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 192.80 crore in the June quarter.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 200.8 crore during the April-June period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing. ​ Revenue from operations increased 7.9 per cent to Rs 1,420.44 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared to Rs 1,316.56 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

Sales volume stood at 61.2 million pieces, growing by 5.7 per cent on a year-on-year basis, Page Industries said in its earnings statement.

Page Industries is the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc (USA) for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Maldives, Bhutan and the UAE. ​ The company’s total expenses stood 10.5 per cent higher at Rs 1,172.48 crore in the quarter under review.

Total income jumped 7.48 per cent YoY to Rs 1,431.05 crore in Q1 FY27.

Commenting on the outlook, Managing Director V S Ganesh said, “Encouraging consumer demand trends, positive acceptance of product enhancements and new product lines, and our focused operational excellence initiatives give us confidence as we look ahead to the rest of the year.” Consumer demand is expected to remain strong through the year, supported by encouraging market trends and continued brand relevance.

“Newer product lines, particularly for younger consumers, are planned to address evolving preferences and strengthen category participation. The company’s focus on operational excellence, digitalisation across key value streams, and the gradual ramp-up of new production facilities is expected to further enhance efficiency, agility and long-term growth,” he said.

Shares of Page Industries on Thursday settled 3.44 per cent lower at Rs 36,789.95 apiece on the BSE.
