Mumbai August, 18: PCBL Chemical Limited has received approval under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) for its proposed Acetylene Black project, involving an investment of approximately ₹329 crore.
The company disclosed the development to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. The project centres on Acetylene Black, a conductive material used in lithium-ion batteries as well as other advanced industrial applications.
PCBL Chemical said the proposed investment is expected to support the development of the domestic advanced materials ecosystem, while also strengthening local supply chains and reducing dependence on imports.
