PNB Housing Finance Q1 Net Profit Rises Marginally to Rs 557 Cr

New Delhi: PNB Housing Finance on Tuesday reported a marginal 4 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 557 crore for the first quarter ended June.

The housing finance firm had earned a net profit of Rs 534 crore in the same quarter of the preceding financial year.

The company’s total income for the quarter grew to Rs 2,265 crore from Rs 2,082 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, PNB Housing Finance said in a regulatory filing.

Interest income for the quarter rose to Rs 2,138 crore compared to Rs 1,980 crore a year ago.

The net interest income also increased 6 per cent to Rs 803 crore in Q1 FY27 against Rs 760 crore in the year-ago period.

However, the net interest margin declined to 3.5 per cent compared to 3.74 per cent in the first quarter of the preceding fiscal.

During the quarter, the gross Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) of the home loan provider moderated to 0.95 per cent from 1.06 per cent at the end of June 2025.

Capital adequacy ratio also declined to 28.26 per cent from 29.68 per cent as of June 30, 2025.

Assets Under Management improved by 13 per cent to Rs 93,021 crore against Rs 82,100 crore at the end of the first quarter of FY26.
