Key themes to watch

Jio and Retail listing plans:

Markets will track any developments on potential IPO timelines for Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail, given the scale and growth of both arms.

Network expansion and AI:

Expect details on AI strategy and broadband expansion. Reliance highlighted the acceleration of home connections via AirFiber alongside Fiber, with a stated confidence in reaching 100 million homes through a combination of both.

New energy platform:

Reliance has positioned new energy as a core growth pillar. Prior guidance placed green fuels and AI-based solutions as long-term engines, with an end-to-end ecosystem spanning polysilicon-to-modules, electrolysers, batteries, and green hydrogen supported by captive renewable power. Updates on technology upgrades, including perovskite solar cells, and commissioning timelines over the next four to six quarters are anticipated.

O2C, petrochemicals, and E&P:

The oil-to-chemicals business remains a key profit driver. Capacity additions are underway in polyester, vinyl, and carbon fibre with stated targets by FY27. On exploration and production, additional wells at the KG-D6 basin are planned by late 2028 to sustain gas output.

Retail growth levers:

Commentary is expected on accelerating retail growth, including FMCG expansion, JioHotstar monetisation, and quick commerce, alongside the previously stated goal to double retail earnings in three to four years.

Long-term ambition:

At last year’s AGM, management outlined an ambition to double Reliance’s overall business by 2030, with nearer-term doubling targets for Jio and Retail. This long-range framing is expected to remain a reference point at today’s meet.
