Brightcom Unveils New Aerospace Division to Focus on UAV Flight Systems and Threat Detection Software

Brightcom Group officially confirmed the creation of a new division to work on autonomous aerial defence software and aerospace intelligence systems. The unit will focus on four key areas:

  • UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) flight systems
  • Swarm drone coordination
  • Real-time threat detection
  • Aerospace simulation tools

The company stated that detailed plans-including leadership structure and operational strategy-will be tabled at the next board meeting. This initiative signals Brightcom’s intent to diversify into strategic technology segments with long-term national relevance.

Revenue Grows to ₹580.32 Cr in Q4FY25; FY25 Annual Revenue Touches ₹2,129.88 Cr

Brightcom Group reported a consolidated revenue of ₹580.32 crore in Q4FY25, compared to ₹557.06 crore in Q3FY25, showing a moderate sequential increase. For the full fiscal year FY25, the company posted a total income of ₹2,129.88 crore.

Revenue from the digital marketing services segment-which remains Brightcom’s core business-stood at ₹1,947.15 crore, while its technology development and support services contributed ₹182.73 crore. The quarterly uptick was largely driven by higher client onboarding and improved monetisation of programmatic advertising platforms.

Net Profit Grows 222.2% YoY in Q4; P/E Stays Low at 3.96

Brightcom Group’s recent performance metrics point to robust quarterly growth, though long-term metrics remain mixed. The company’s net profit for the quarter grew 222.2% YoY, positioning it as a runner-up performer in the market. However, net profit TTM growth is relatively low at 3.4%, reflecting some lag in sustained profitability.

The operating revenue growth (TTM) stood at 10.4%, and operating profit margin for the quarter was 26%, slightly below the industry median. Its Piotroski Score is 4, indicating weak financial fundamentals, while return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) are at 8.2% and 7.2%, respectively-both below industry benchmarks.
