Mumbai, August 29 – The Wealth Company Mutual Fund has received the clearance from the regulator (SEBI) to launch its first debt category scheme: The Wealth Company Liquid Fund. It will be an open-ended liquid fund that investors can use to park their idle funds, hedge against risk, and diversify. The fund aims to be an excellent alternative to risk-free investments such as bank deposits.

The fund will invest in short-term securities, including debt and money market instruments, with a maturity of up to 91 days, thereby providing modest returns while maintaining extremely high liquidity.

Scheme Highlights

The fund is benchmarked against the NIFTY Liquid Index A-I (TRI), and it offers both regular and direct plans with growth and IDCW options. Investors can start with as little as ₹1,000, while SIPs begin at ₹250. The scheme carries no entry load and has a reducing exit load until Day 6, after which it is zero.

NFO Details and Key Features

The Wealth Company Liquid Fund is offered at an NFO price of ₹1,000 per unit, with the NFO period open for 3–15 working days. Units reopen for continuous sale/repurchase within five business days of allotment. Key features include high liquidity with redemption within three working days, swing pricing in accordance with SEBI norms, and a provision for a segregated portfolio in the event of distressed securities. Investors can also avail SIP, STP, and SWP facilities through MF Central and the stock exchange infrastructure.

Management Team and Trustee Approval

The scheme will be jointly managed by CA Umesh Sharma (Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and CFA), having more than 2 decades of experience, including 14 years at Franklin Templeton, along with CA Varun Nanavati, having experience in corporate credit rating (Crisil), Citi (EMEA) and risk audit at KPMG.

The Wealth Company Liquid Fund was approved by the Trustee at its board meeting held on July 18, 2025, certifying it as a new product offering and not a modification of any existing scheme.

The Wealth Company Mutual Fund, sponsored by Pantomath Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd., is headquartered in Mumbai. The fund house has launched this scheme as its first offering in the open-ended debt category, with Pantomath Trustee Pvt. Ltd. serving as trustee and Wealth Company Asset Management Holdings Pvt. Ltd. as the AMC.
