Shadowfax Technologies Plans to Onboard 1,000 Channel Partners Over Next Three Years

Mumbai: Third-party logistics company Shadowfax Technologies on Thursday announced plans to onboard 1,000 channel partners across tier I and tier II cities over the next three years with the launch of its channel partner programme.
With a strategic focus on Tier 2 cities and key manufacturing clusters, it would enable SMEs and offline-first businesses to access logistics and assisted onboarding closer to where they operate, the company said.
The company also plans expansion of Shadowfax 360 beyond its digital self-serve model into an assisted distribution network. While Shadowfax 360 enables sellers to self-onboard in minutes, many sellers in tier 2 India still need on-ground assistance, as per the company.
Shadowfax 360 is a unified digital shipping solutions platform for e-commerce, direct-to-consumer firms and MSMEs.
The company said that through one local touchpoint, sellers can access an integrated portfolio offering of express parcel, reverse logistics, bulky shipments through Prime Large and critical logistics via Shadowfax’s CriticaLog arm, which specialises in high-value and time-sensitive delivery.
While metros and tier 1 cities will also be covered, the channel partner programme will primarily focus on Tier 2 cities and key manufacturing clusters, it said. The company is also rolling out its first Shadowfax-branded walk-in stores ‘serving businesses and individual customers alike’, with Chandigarh and Lucknow among the initial markets, followed by expansion into other tier 2 cities and manufacturing clusters across India.
With this expansion, local entrepreneurs in these markets ‘will help onboard sellers, place and manage orders on their behalf through the Shadowfax 360 portal, and extend credit to them, helping address the digital and working-capital barriers that can prevent small sellers from shipping to customers across the country, it said.
Partners can get started without investing in infrastructure or inventory, while Shadowfax manages pickup and delivery across its network of 16,372 pin codes, the company stated.
The launch builds on a strong Q1 FY27, in which the company delivered 24.7 crore orders and registered a 65 per cent year-on-year revenue growth to Rs 1,358 crore. The company expects the programme will help it in customer acquisition across tier 2 cities, contributing to volume growth and revenue diversification, it said.
“Shadowfax 360 made enterprise-grade logistics a click away for digital sellers. Channel Partners now take it to brands and SMEs in Tier 2 cities that still sell offline and need a trusted local partner to go online, as well as to individuals who walk into a store to send a parcel,” said Praharsh Chandra, Whole-time Director and CBO, Shadowfax Technologies Ltd.
