Mumbai, November 10: Shipping Corporation of India share price is trading in the red today after reporting a fall in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30. As of 12:40 PM, Shipping Corporation of India share price is down by 2.76%, or 7.35 points, and is trading at ₹259.10. Until now, the Shipping Corporation of India shares have traded within a range of ₹262 and ₹243.30. The current traded volume for the Shipping Corporation of India shares is at 1.67 crore shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹319.70 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹280.50 and their 52-week low at ₹138.26.

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (NSE: SCI | BSE: 523598) is a ‘Navratna’ Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the ownership of the Government of India. The company provides shipping services. The company was established in 1961 and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Shares Fall After Weak Q2FY26 Financial Results

For Q2 FY26 the company reported a net profit of ₹189 crore, which is a 35% decline from ₹291 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations stood at ₹1,338.8 crore, down 7.7% from ₹1,450.7 crore a year ago. EBITDA also fell 23.7% to ₹406 crore compared to ₹532.3 crore in Q2 FY25. Operating margins decreased to 30.3% from 36.7%. The Board of Directors of the company announced an interim dividend of ₹3 per equity share (30% on the face value of ₹10 each) for FY26. The record date for determining eligible shareholders is November 19, 2025, and the dividend will be paid within 30 days of the declaration.
