Shri Hare-Krishna Sponge Iron Ltd commenced operations at its 3 MW waste heat recovery captive power plant, supporting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Mumbai, June 9: Shri Hare-Krishna Sponge Iron Ltd has commenced operations at its 3 Megawatt (MW) Waste Heat Recovery Captive Power Plant at the company’s manufacturing facility.
The development was disclosed through an exchange filing submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the company, the newly operational captive power plant has been set up to improve energy efficiency, optimise operational costs and support sustainable manufacturing operations through utilisation of waste heat generated during the production process.
The company stated that the commissioning marks a significant step in strengthening internal energy infrastructure and improving efficiency across manufacturing activities.
