New Delhi: Silver prices on Thursday fell by Rs 568 to Rs 2,43,645 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery declined by Rs 568, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 2,43,645 per kg in a business turnover of 1,262 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, the white metal was trading 0.50 per cent higher at USD 67.63 per ounce in New York.
