New Delhi, Sept 25: Indian silver price was static at Rs 2,450 per 10 grams in today’s national market on Friday morning, equivalent to 245 per gram or Rs 2,45,000 per kg. The price remained same after dropping by Rs 50 yesterday and stayed constant for the second consecutive day in the national market. There are various factors which can cause silver price in India to rise or fall throughout the day, international price being one of them. Local demand and supply can affect city wise prices but usually they have minimal effect on the overall price. Prices may fluctuate as the bullion exchange was open until the morning hours.
Every city in the top ten remained static as of Friday morning with none of the markets showing a movement during the course of the day. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, Vadodara and Ahmedabad were priced at Rs 2,450 per 10 gm. Whereas Chennai, Hyderabad and Kerala had rates of Rs 2,500 per 10 gm 50 rupees more than the rest of the countries. All the cities dropped by Rs 50 on Thursday.

With festivals around the corner many jewellers have said that they have seen an increase in sales of silver coins, idols and other trinkets. However, people are yet to make a big move towards silver ahead of Navratri and Diwali. With no changes in price after falling by Rs 50 on Thursday the market is uncertain what will happen next week.
