Mumbai, July 24: Five names dominated Thursday’s Q1 earnings tape, from Infosys trimming its FY27 guidance band to Meesho cutting its losses in half. Here’s what’s driving each stock and what to track as the earnings season rolls on.

Infosys (INFY)

FY27 revenue growth guidance narrowed to 1.5%-3%: Infosys on Thursday narrowed its FY27 revenue growth guidance to 1.5-3 per cent in constant currency terms, from 1.5-3.5 per cent previously, and maintained its operating margin guidance of 20-22 per cent. Operating margin was 21.1 per cent. Large deal wins worth $3.6 billion were closed during the quarter. Investors will look for commentary on improving demand trends in Financial Services and Energy, Utilities and Resources verticals, where Infosys expects growth to accelerate through the year.

Infosys also named company veteran Ashiss Kumar Dash as CEO-designate, with the leadership transition scheduled for April 1, 2027, after incumbent Salil Parekh completes his second term, marking the end of a nine-year tenure.
