New Delhi, Oct 26: Here are five stocks in focus on Monday, from Infosys’ lowered FY27 revenue guidance to BPCL’s return to profit to Dr Reddy’s 36% profit slide to Coforge’s 56.5% profit jump to Netweb’s 61.5% sequential revenue surge. Here’s what’s driving each stock and what to track through the session.

Infosys (INFY)

Infosys reported a 6% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹7,823 crore in the September quarter, compared with ₹7,364 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations rose 10.7% to ₹49,244 crore, while profit was nearly flat from ₹7,769 crore in the June quarter.

The IT services company lowered its FY27 revenue growth guidance to 1-2% in constant currency terms from the earlier estimate of 1.5-3%. Management cited pricing pressure from intense competition and clients asking for higher productivity.

Large deal wins stood at $5.2 billion, and AI revenue grew 29% sequentially to $540 million. Investors will track how the stock reacts to the guidance cut and what it means for other IT stocks.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL)

BPCL reported a standalone net profit of ₹4,993 crore in the second quarter, compared with a net loss of ₹3,962 crore in the preceding quarter. EBITDA stood at ₹8,971 crore, against an EBITDA loss of ₹4,077 crore in the previous quarter. Both beat estimates.

Profit was still down 22.5% from ₹6,443 crore a year earlier. Gross refining margin jumped to $32.53 per barrel from $10.78, but the gains were offset by losses from a five-month freeze on retail fuel price revisions despite higher costs.

The stock closed at ₹281.95 on Friday, down 1.74%. Whether the retail price freeze eases and refining margins hold with crude near $115 will be key factors to watch.

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories (DRREDDY)

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories reported a 36% year-on-year fall in consolidated net profit to ₹913.4 crore in the second quarter, compared with ₹1,426.8 crore a year earlier. Revenue fell 1.5% to ₹8,670.8 crore from ₹8,805.1 crore, though it rose 7% from the previous quarter.

EBITDA dropped 24.2% to ₹1,783 crore, and the EBITDA margin narrowed to 20.6%. The company blamed the decline mainly on lower lenalidomide sales in North America, saying its base business excluding that product grew in double digits.

Growth in India and emerging markets, partly offset the weakness. Commentary on the pace of lenalidomide erosion, margin recovery and the timelines for semaglutide and an abatacept biosimilar will be key factors to watch.

Coforge (COFORGE)

Coforge posted a 56.5% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹588.1 crore in Q2 FY27, from ₹375.8 crore, supported by a full-quarter contribution from the acquisition of engineering services company Encora for $2.35 billion. Net profit rose 13.4% sequentially.

Revenue rose 53.6% to ₹6,170.8 crore. EBIT climbed 67.8% to ₹984.7 crore, a margin of 16%, and the company raised its FY27 EBIT margin guidance to 16% from 15.5%. Order intake was $1.04 billion, with eight large deals, the most in a single quarter.

Profit and revenue still fell short of analyst estimates, according to Zee Business, and BW Businessworld flagged rising debt and integration costs as concerns. Investors will look for commentary on Encora’s integration and on converting the order book into revenue.

Netweb Technologies (NETWEB)

Netweb Technologies reported a 61.5% quarter-on-quarter jump in Q2 revenue to ₹1,323 crore, compared with ₹819 crore in the previous quarter. Net profit rose 60.6% to ₹137 crore from ₹85.3 crore, and EBITDA grew 64.4% to ₹197 crore, with the margin at 14.9% against 14.6%.

AI systems contributed ₹773.1 crore, or 58.4% of revenue, up more than tenfold from a year earlier. First-half profit of ₹222 crore has already exceeded the ₹205.8 crore earned in all of FY26, and the order book stood at ₹2,629 crore.

The company has completed a ₹1,200 crore QIP and plans a Taiwan subsidiary. Order conversion and execution of the overseas expansion will be key factors to watch.
