Mumbai September, 08: Suzlon Energy has secured a maiden 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Limited, involving 64 of its flagship S144 wind turbine generators for a project in Madhya Pradesh.
As per the regulatory filing, the order marks Ayana Renewable Power’s first wind project with Suzlon and will be executed at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh. The project will supply power to the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) state grid.
Suzlon will install 64 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The company will execute the project through its end-to-end EPC offering, covering turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant, pooling substation, extra-high-voltage line, commissioning and operations and maintenance services.
The order is Suzlon’s third DevCo-led wind project spanning Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The company said the latest contract also takes cumulative sales of its S144 platform beyond the 10 GW milestone.
The project adds to Suzlon’s recent activity in Madhya Pradesh, a state that the company believes has significant potential for wind energy development.
Stock Market Snapshot
The Suzlon share price was trading at ₹45.52, down ₹0.03 or 0.07%, as of 9:33:12 AM IST on September 8, 2026, according to the market data shown.
The stock opened around ₹45.55 and moved higher to nearly ₹45.70 during the early session before easing towards the latest quoted level. At ₹45.52, the counter was marginally below the previous closing level.
The movement remained subdued despite the announcement of the 200 MW order, with the stock fluctuating within a narrow range during the opening phase of trading.

S144 Order Takes Suzlon Past 10 GW Sales Milestone
The latest contract strengthens Suzlon’s position in India’s utility-scale wind energy market and adds another project to its growing portfolio of developer-led orders.
The 64 turbines planned for the Madhya Pradesh project will use Suzlon’s S144 platform, with each machine offering 3.15 MW of rated capacity. The company said cumulative sales of the platform have now crossed 10 GW.
For the Ayana project, Suzlon will handle the execution through its integrated EPC model rather than limiting its role to turbine supply. The scope extends from equipment and infrastructure to commissioning and subsequent O&M services.
Ayana Renewable Power said Suzlon’s technology, execution capabilities and integrated project delivery approach were important factors in selecting the company for the project.
Suzlon Expands Wind Portfolio Across Key Renewable Energy Markets
Suzlon has been expanding its presence across India’s renewable energy market through wind projects for independent power producers, corporate customers and other developers.
The company said it has more than 22 GW of installed wind energy capacity across 17 countries. Its portfolio includes wind turbine platforms ranging from 2.X MW to 6.X MW, alongside renewable energy solutions covering wind, solar and storage.
The latest order also reinforces Suzlon’s presence in Madhya Pradesh, where the company has secured multiple wind projects. With the state’s wind potential and growing renewable energy requirements, the company expects the region to play an important role in the next phase of India’s wind energy expansion.
Conclusion
Suzlon Energy has secured a 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power for a project at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh.
The project will involve 64 S144 wind turbines of 3.15 MW each, with Suzlon responsible for the broader EPC scope, including turbine supply, balance of plant, grid infrastructure, commissioning and O&M services.
The order also takes cumulative sales of Suzlon’s S144 platform beyond 10 GW and adds another project to the company’s growing wind portfolio across India.
On the market front, the Suzlon share price stood at ₹45.52 as of 9:33:12 AM IST on September 8, 2026, down 0.07% from the previous close.
