IPO price band and investment required

Symbiotec Pharmalab has fixed the IPO price band at ₹938 to ₹988 per share. The minimum application size is 15 shares, meaning a retail investor needs ₹14,820 at the upper end of the price band to apply for one lot.

Investors can bid in multiples of 15 shares. The maximum retail application is 195 shares, or 13 lots, requiring ₹1,92,660 at the upper price.

The company has also reserved 33,408 shares for employees, who are eligible for a ₹90 per share discount to the issue price.

Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO issue details

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of 15,21,261 shares worth ₹150 crore and an offer for sale of 1,62,65,181 shares worth ₹1,607 crore at the upper price band.

The total issue size stands at 1,77,86,442 shares, aggregating to around ₹1,757 crore.

The issue opened on August 24 and will remain open until August 27, 2026. The tentative allotment date is August 28, followed by the expected refund and credit of shares on August 31. The shares are scheduled to list on September 1, 2026, on both NSE and BSE.

IPO reservation

After excluding the employee reservation, the net offer to the public is divided across the three main investor categories.

  • QIB: 50% of the net offer
  • NII: 15% of the net offer

What to watch on Day 2

The Day 1 numbers give the IPO a decent start, but the picture is still incomplete. Retail and NII demand has crossed the 1x mark, while QIB demand is only at 0.37x.

The key number to track on Day 2 will therefore be QIB participation. If institutional bidding picks up alongside continued retail and HNI demand, the overall subscription could accelerate sharply toward the final day.

For now, Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO stands at 0.85x subscription after Day 1, with the sNII and employee categories showing the strongest demand.
