Mumbai, August 5, 2025 – Shares of Tata Investment Corporation Ltd rallied sharply on Tuesday, gaining 7.87% in early trade today. At 2:20 p.m. 5th August, the stock is up by 2.16%, trading at Rs 7126.50.  The company’s stock gained after it announced a stock split in the ratio of 1:10.

At 2:25 p.m. IST the stock is up by 2.04% at Rs 7118.50.

Stock Gains Momentum Post Results

Tata Investment Corporation on Monday reported a 23.5 percent year-on-year increase in standalone net profit to ₹139.22 crore for Q1FY26. This performance was driven by strong dividend income and fair value gains, helping the company post a total comprehensive income of ₹3,770.37 crore during the quarter.

As mentioned before, there was a corporate action update (approval of stock split in the ratio of 1:10), reducing the face value of each share from ₹10 to ₹1. The move is aimed at enhancing stock liquidity and improving affordability for retail investors.

There was a bit of consolidation in the stock price after the initial jump. At 12:20 IST, Tata Investment Corporation Ltd. share prices were trading at ₹7,323.50 with a ₹347.50 or 4.98% gain. The stock had a VWAP of 7425.81, a value of ₹43278 crores, and a volume of 583,000 shares.
