Hyderabad, October 27, 2025: The share price of TGV SRAAC Ltd (BSE: 507753) fell 6.70% to ₹118.30 today at noon, following the announcement of a halt of production due to a transformer failure in Kurnool.

The company indicated that the production loss would be approximately 120 tonnes per day of caustic soda and 106 TPD of chlorine after a winding failure in the transformer supplied by Transformers and Rectifiers India Ltd. The company anticipates this disruption will last close to 60 days. The company stated it is contacting the vendor to rewind the transformer and is also looking for alternate solutions to expedite the return to service of the facility.

Headquartered in Hyderabad, TGV SRAAC Ltd operates in the commodity chemicals segment, producing caustic soda, chlorine, hydrogen, and related derivatives.
