Indian equities showed mixed stock-specific movement during the morning session on Thursday, August 20, 2026. At 11:30 AM IST, Eternal Ltd emerged as the top gainer in the market snapshot, rising 2.33%. Shriram Finance Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd also traded firmly higher. Mumbai, August 20 –  The Indian stock market witnessed mixed movement in morning trade on Thursday, with select stocks attracting buying interest while several prominent counters remained under pressure. At 11:30 AM IST, Eternal Ltd led the gainers with a 2.33% rise. Shriram Finance Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, Bajaj Finance Ltd and JSW Steel Ltd also remained in positive territory. Meanwhile, Hindalco Industries Ltd recorded the sharpest decline among the stocks in the provided market snapshot.
