UFlex, Gulshan Polyols and MPS Limited led the volume gainers on July 22 as trading activity surged sharply above recent averages across select mid-cap stocks.

Mumbai July, 22: Trading activity picked up across a wide range of mid-cap and small-cap stocks on Wednesday, with several counters recording volumes multiple times higher than their recent averages. The spike in participation was accompanied by gains across manufacturing, consumer, financial services and industrial stocks, pointing to fresh investor interest.
UFlex emerged as the standout performer after trading at nearly 446 times its one-week average volume. Gulshan Polyols, Canara Robeco Asset Management, MPS and Wakefit Innovations also featured prominently among the day’s volume gainers.

Where The Action Was
The sharpest surge in trading activity was seen in UFlex, where volumes expanded more than 445 times the one-week average as the stock advanced nearly 13%. MPS Limited locked in a 20% gain while witnessing trading volumes close to 48 times its recent average, indicating aggressive buying interest.
Consumer-focused names also remained in demand. Wakefit Innovations climbed almost 15%, while Kaya, Huhtamaki India and TARC registered healthy gains alongside elevated trading activity. Meanwhile, Rajdarshan Industries also hit the upper circuit with volumes more than 26 times above its weekly average.
Not every high-volume counter ended in positive territory. MedPlus Health Services, Orient Electric and Smartworks Coworking Spaces saw increased participation despite finishing lower, suggesting active profit booking in those stocks.
Conclusion
The July 22 volume gainers list reflected broad-based participation across packaging, manufacturing, financial services and consumer sectors. UFlex led the surge in trading volumes by a wide margin, while MPS, Wakefit Innovations and Gulshan Polyols also attracted significant investor interest as market activity broadened beyond benchmark stocks.
