Why Volume Gainers Matter
A sudden increase in trading volume can indicate that a stock has attracted much more attention than usual during a particular session. It may be linked to stronger buying or selling interest, company developments or simply increased market activity. However, high volume does not automatically mean that a stock will continue moving in the same direction. Investors should look at the price movement, business developments and overall market conditions before making a decision.
Conclusion
The volume-gainer list on September 2 showed a clear rise in trading activity across several stocks. Century Enka Ltd recorded the biggest increase compared with its 1-week average volume, while Antelopus Selan Energy Ltd posted the strongest price gain at 20%. Indoco Remedies Ltd also combined a sharp rise with unusually high volume. The data highlights where market participation was particularly strong, but investors should consider the reason behind the activity rather than relying on volume alone.
