Why Volume Gainers Matter

Volume gainers can help investors spot stocks that are attracting much more market attention than usual. A sudden rise in volume can accompany a sharp price move, a company announcement, a sector trend or increased trading interest. However, high volume alone does not indicate whether a stock will continue moving in the same direction. It is therefore useful to consider volume alongside price movement and other relevant factors.

Conclusion

Respond Industries Limited stood out as the biggest volume gainer at 12:00 PM IST on September 4, with trading activity nearly 139 times its one-week average. Puravankara Limited and Rane (Madras) Limited also recorded exceptionally high volumes, while both stocks remained firmly in positive territory. S V Global Mill Limited posted a strong 14.33% gain, adding to the active trading trend. Overall, the list showed heightened interest in these stocks, although investors should look at the reason behind the volume spike before drawing any investment conclusion.
