Why Volume Gainers Matter
Volume gainers help highlight stocks that are attracting much more trading activity than they normally see. A sudden increase in volume can indicate that market participants are paying greater attention to a stock. When higher volume comes along with a strong price move, it can provide additional context about the day’s trading momentum. However, unusually high volume does not guarantee that a price move will continue, so investors should also consider the reason behind the activity.
Conclusion
UTI Nifty 1D Rate Liquid ETF-Growth and Responsive Industries Limited recorded the largest increases in trading volume compared with their respective one-week averages. Puravankara Limited and Rane (Madras) Limited also stood out, combining sharp increases in activity with positive price movements. S V Global Mill Limited recorded an 85.07-fold increase in volume over its weekly average and gained 11.25%. Overall, the volume-gainer list points to heightened trading interest across these counters, although investors should look at the underlying factors behind the volume surge before making any investment decision.
